Vitamin B2 (Riboflavin)
Functions:
- Helps release energy from carbohydrates, fat and protein
- Helps keep skin healthy
Food sources: milk, liver, eggs, green leafy vegetables, lean meats, dried beans and peas, enriched bread, cereals and pasta.
Deficiency can cause skin sores around the nose and lips, cracking of the corners of the mouth, and eyes sensitive to light.
