Kids in Australia have decided to walk out of school to protest political inaction on climate change.
Thousands of kids across Australia are participating in this protest to draw the government’s attention to the issues of climate change and demanding political action to solve it.
The official handle of the organizers put out a statement calling on all students to join the strike.

Responding to question from #ClimateStrike students, NSW Labor Shadow Minister Adam Searle says “NSW Labor has not supported the Adani project, we’ve made that position very clear for a couple of years… It’s incumbent on those in public life to make our positions very clear.”
Climate change is an issue every inhabitant of Earth needs to be concerned about. We need government policies that promote sustainable living and political will to implement such climate friendly policies.
