Last season’s Premier League champions, Manchester City has bagged another trophy to their name today at the Wembley Stadium in a final match between Liverpool F.C for the Community Shield title.
The match difficult to predict before the 90 minutes went in favour of the men in blue. Twelve minutes inside the game, Raheem Sterling scored an opener putting the Cityzens on edge against their opponent. A goal which was replied by Matip in the falling minutes of the second half.
The game ended in a tie and seventy-seven thousand in attendance at Wembley and millions around the world waited to see the outcome of the penalty shootout.
