- The Europa League comes to a close on Wednesday with an all-English final between Chelsea and Arsenal
- Competition: Europa League
- Venue: Olympic Stadium, Baku Date: Wednesday, 29 May –
- Kick-off: 8:00 PM BST.
I took the liberty to ask fans around and here is what they think would be the outcome of tomorrow’s game.
Bele Shady: Arsenal 2 – 1 Chelsea. “A win will be Unai Emery’s redemption and ranks Arsenal the third English Premier League team to win the title asides Manchester United and their final opponent Chelsea.”
Damilare Dondre: Arsenal 2 – 1 Chelsea. “Some vital players in Chelsea are injured. Likes of Ngolo Kante, Loftus Cheek, Rudiger, Hudson Odoi.. And Arsenal are in the Europe final after almost a decade. Since 2006 and they’re fully fit and ready as ever.”
In an aggregate of 197 matches played between both teams Arsenal has 77 wins while Chelsea 63 and a total draw of 57.
Jakey Perry: Arsenal 2 – 1 Chelsea. ” Unai Emery has been a winner of this trophy twice and with Frank Lampard coaching Chelsea there’s no way he can attain victory. He didn’t win in Championship with Derby County, he can’t win here besides Mkhitaryan is out of the match.”
Macwilz: Arsenal 3 – 1 Chelsea. “Because Arsenal are more committed to winning the title than Chelsea, they’ve been in their best form in the Europa league, so they’re likely to win it, my thoughts though.”
Top predictions reveal Arsenal is more likely to be Europa League winners for the first time. Well, tomorrow will tell who will lift the trophy.
