The Governor of Katsina State, Bello Masari and the Chairman of Dangote Group, Aliko Dangote, will be tested for Coronavirus after coming in contact with Alhaji Abba Kyari, the Chief of Staff to President Muhammadu Buhari who tested positive for coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic while the president tested negative.
Alhaji Abba Kyari was said to have travelled to Germany and Egypt where he is suspected to have contracted the disease on March 7 and returned about a week later.
Germany has 29,056 infections and 123 deaths while Egypt has 327 confirmed cases of Coronavirus and 14 deaths.
Alhaji Kyari upon his return was said to have been attending meetings including with President Buhari, Vice President, Yemi Osinbajo, ministers and other members of the Federal Executive Council. It was also revealed that he had also been in contact with Gov. Bello Masari, Gov. Yahaya Bello and Alhaji Aliko Dangote.
Alhaji Kyari has also met with the Inspector General of Police (IGP) Mohammed Adamu, among others.
After his arrival, he attended the wedding ceremony of Hassan Adamu, son of the Inspector General of Police, which held in Abuja on March 14, the same day he arrived in the country.
