Teo-Inspiro International, a social enterprise, in partnership with Tony Oruarooghene Foundation (TOF) will host the 6th edition of Champion’s Conference on the 7th of November, 2015 in Lagos, Nigeria. The theme of this year’s conference is ‘ALIVE & KICKING’.
The focus of the conference this year is to encourage young Nigerians to begin the demonstration of leadership from their immediate environment and sphere of influence. Our emphasis is on the fact that every citizen is a leader and has a huge role to play in achieving the ‘CHANGE’ we all clamour. Although we want to hold our government at every level responsible and accountable, the most important place to effect change is in our communities.
The theme, ‘ALIVE & KICKING’ draws attention to the fact that all hands must be on deck to achieve our vision for a NEW NIGERIA, where every system works and all citizens, no matter their social status, respect the rule of law.
The Agenda
The agenda for Champion’s Conference 2015 has been designed to pay attention to the need for participants to ask questions and interact more with panelists and fellow participants. This is based on feedback gotten from previous conferences. As a result more time has been allotted for the panelist discussions and question and answer sessions.
We have also made provision for a televised speech and short documentary in line with the theme of the conference. The creative industry will also be present with live theatre performance and poetry by young leaders.
Panelist Session 1:
The Role of Young People in Nation Building; Making it Happen
Panelist Session 2:
