October is obviously an exciting month for TV Series and the comeback of our favourite superhero series.
Here are the top 5 you need to keep up to date with.
5. Midnight, Texas.
From the category of fantasy and mystery comes Midnight, Texas, a horror story of a remote Texas town where being normal is weird. From psychics to vampires and witches, these strange people will have to form an alliance amidst their differences to fight against forces from within and especially from outside their town.
4. The Flash.
‘My name is Nora West-Allen and I’m the fastest girl alive’.
The Flash returns with more mystery and possible disruption of their timeline. The previous season ended with an appearance of an unexpected guest, Nora West-Allen, Iris and Barry’s daughter from the future!
Will Team Flash send Nora back to the future or will she stay risking the possibility of changing the timeline while they fight other villain and meta’s attacking Central City?
3. Riverdale.
High school students, Archie Andrews, Betty Cooper, Jughead Jones, Veronica Lodge and others return to the screen in Riverdale as they are faced with resuming school season despite recent happenings.
The story revolving around a small town depicts drama, crime, mystery and love. Archie Andrews is set to spend time in prison, Jughead Jones leads the ‘Southside Serpent’ attack on ‘Ghoulies’, Betty Cooper being the Serpents first lady is to find out a dark secret of herself and Veronica refuses to become a Lodge. Will the parents of these teenagers step up to protect their wards? Or would these teenagers risk being the saviours of their town once again?
2. Arrow.
Star City’s vigilante Oliver Queen does time in a maximum security prison. For the sake of protecting his family the ‘Green Arrow’ is determined to lay low while he faces inmates he has apprehended while on his vigilante duties.
With John Diggle and Dinah Drake having new jobs and neglecting their vigilante duties, who will restore watch over Star City? Or who will fail the city?
1. Black Lightning.
‘Last time I saw a superhero, he was black, he said ‘This is for the street Black Lightning’s back’.
Principal Jefferson Pierce or secretly identified as Black Lightning faces the school board who is determined to drop him down and close the school as he was nowhere to be found when it was attacked. Their city Freeland is dying with the widespread of ‘green light’. Local forces are apprehending and putting down users of these drugs. Black Lightning and his daughters must fight to keep Freeland safe with Jennifer Pierce still not in control of her powers and Tobias on the loose.
