Forbes list of the 100 most powerful women in the world have the German Chancellor Angela Merkel topping the list.
She is followed by the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom, Theresa May and Christine Lagarde in third place.
These women have surely demonstrated strength, grit and focus in their positions of leadership. Many young girls and women around the world look up to them as role models.
Other women on the list are Sheryl Sandberg and Melinda Gates.
