The second leg of the quarter finals in the UEFA Champions League kicked off today with matches between Barcelona and Manchester United while Ajax and Juventus struggled for the next rounds.
Manchester United already took a loss in the first leg to Barcelona at Old Trafford and were determined to comeback in Camp Nou or possibly win like they did PSG.
Early minutes to the first half and Rashford unfortunately saw the top of the metal. 16 minutes to the game, Messi found the next with a curler and did the same 4 minutes after as the ball slipped thru De Gea’s grip.
As almost hundred thousand in attendance and countless viewers outside await more thrill in the second half, a reply from Manchester United, a firm grip from De Gea, Coutinho insisted that more goals be added. In aggregate Barcelona wins 4 – 0 against the not-so-red devils.
No reply came from the away team as they drop out of the title race in a humiliating loss to their opponent.
As a consolation, Juventus was knocked out too by Ajax in a 2 – 1 loss.
