The CEO of Gokada Fahim Saleh, was found dead in New York.
Police Tuesday said a man believed to be Fahim Saleh, the 33-year-old tech entrepreneur who founded Gokada in Lagos, has been brutally murdered in his condo.
New York Police Department said Saleh’s corpse was found limbless and headless in a building on E. Houston St. at Suffolk St. on the Lower East side, New York. But the dismembered body parts were found at the scene of the murder.i
Gokada s an on-demand transportation company or motorbike hailing service headquartered in Lagos, Nigeria. They are the first motorbike hailing app in Nigeria. Customers can order a motorbike ride through the company’s website, or by using the company’s geo-location based mobile app.
Gokada Nigeria put out an official statement after the news of its founder’s death.
“We are deeply saddened to inform you about the sudden and tragic loss of our founder and CEO, Fahim Saleh. Fahim was a great leader, inspiration and positive light for all of us.
Our hearts go out to his friends, family and all those feeling the pain and heartbreak we are currently experiencing, here at Gokada.
