Teen sensation Billie Eilish swept the Grammys, winning all four top awards – album, song, record of the year and best new artist.
Billie is now the youngest artist in the history of the Grammys to win all four major awards (BNA, AOTY, SOTY and ROTY) in a single night. she is also the second artist ever and only female artist to achieve this.
The Grammy Awards hand out trophies in more than 80 categories, honoring artists across all genres. But the four biggest categories — Album of the Year, Song of the Year, Record of the Year, and Best New Artist — all went to just one artist this year: Billie Eilish.

Nigerians were looking forward to having their own superstar BurnaBoy win a Grammy for Best World Music Album, but this desire did not happen. Celia Angelique Kidjo won that category. It’s a huge deal to be nominated for a Grammy Award and BurnaBoy can only go higher.
Grief overshadowed politics at the Grammys, as the shocking death of Kobe Bryant hours before the event resulted in a series of tributes throughout a show held at Staples Center, the venue where the NBA superstar occupied center stage with the LA Lakers.
