A new virus which was first reported in Wuhan, China is reported to have resulted in 17 deaths and almost 500 infections.

This SARS-like virus is known as 2019-nCoV, a new strain of coronavirus that has been identified in humans previously.
The virus has spread to Japan, South Korea, Thailand and the U.S.

The origin is linked to an illegal seafood market in Wuhan that sells wild animals. Signs of infection have been identified as respiratory symptoms, fever, cough, difficulties in breathing, etc.

It is important that all borders, land, sea and airports are on high alert for screening incoming traffic into the country.
