Iran launched more than a dozen ballistic missiles on two Iraqi bases in the early hours of Wednesday. This has been described as a revenge for the killing of Souleimani.
Trump started his address by saying “As long as I am the President Of The United States Iran will not be allowed to have nuclear weapons.”
He spoke from a position of strength, celebrating that no American or Iraqi lives were lost in the attack. “By removing Souleimani we have sent a clear message to terrorist, if you love your life, do not touch our people.”

The President stated that more economic sanctions will be placed on Iran. He also called on the United Kingdom, Germany and France should break from Iran nuclear deal.
Trump also said in his address that he will ask NATO to be more involved in the middle east.
President Trump did not miss an opportunity to reiterate his achievement in the economy and well equipped military.
In closing, he said “we want you to have a great future, …the United States is ready to embrace peace to all who seek it.”
