RIVERDALE S03E04

RIVERDALE S03E04

Still in confusion over the widespread game of “Gryphons and Gargoyles” in Riverdale High, the authorities have banned the game and have admitted that the game has been the cause for the recent deaths and attempted suicide.

In order to protect her daughter, Alice Smith decides to tell Betty about the origin of the game from her teenage years in Riverdale.

This episode is so interesting as the teenagers play the roles of their parents when they were younger. Alice Smith was then pregnant with FP Jones child. Frederick Andrews was an artist athlete, Hermione Hiram was then a rebellious Catholic. Penelope Blossom was the teacher’s pet, Sierra Samuels the political animal. Forsythe Pendleton Jones Jr was the ladies man.

Somehow they all ended up in detention and because they didn’t keep to the rules their sentence increased four times more. The teenagers discovered the game of Gryphons and Gargoyles in a broken locker. They started playing, picking characters, concluding quests and became closer friends.

Shortly they took the name “Midnight Club” and soon they’re joined in the game with Hiram Lodge, Tom Keller and others. It became more than just a game in no time and they got an invite from the Gargoyle King.

It’s interesting that the same teenagers who played the roles of their parents were in a relationship then and in recent time.

Following the death of Fred Andrews dad, the first Gryphons and Gargoyles game kill in Riverdale became Principal Featherhead.

Now the mystery continues as the thought to who the Gargoyle King was then is questioned.
