A major highlight of the 57th FirstBank Lagos Amateur Open Golf Championship was the opportunity for children to participate in the coaching clinic sponsored by FirstBank of Nigeria Limited.
The International Guest Golfer with the assistance of other professional golfers coached over 20 children on how to play golf.
It was an exciting opportunity for the kids and this was visible from their conversations and the quality of questions they asked during the coaching clinic.
Such events provide a platform to discover new talent in sports and when given the support needed can lead to Nigeria producing the best sports men and women across board.
